If you stopped keeping updated on book stuff in 2020, this blog series is for you. A list, organised by month, of 2020 book releases. All are US publication dates, and all buy links are to Kindle Editions. (NOTE: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.) Goodreads links lead to my star-ratings (out of five) and any thoughts.

Long time, no blog! I’ve been active daily on Twitter, though, as well as regularly posting on Facebook and Goodreads. I did have a backlog of covers to post, but I ended up deleting them, because I just could not summon up the energy to blog.

However, here I am with a backlog of pre-orders – 20 of them. They’ll have cover art when you visit the links, so consider that to make up for what I’ve lacked. Also, my Reading Wishlist will have a complete list of releases (past, present, and future) that I hope to read at some stage.

The Leaving
Bloomsbury (US: 6th June 2017)
Buy (US) Buy (UK) Buy (CA) Buy (Worldwide)

Eleven years ago, six kindergartners went missing without a trace. After all that time, the people left behind moved on, or tried to. Until today. Today five of those kids return. They’re sixteen, and they are…fine. Scarlett comes home and finds a mom she barely recognizes, and doesn’t really recognize the person she’s supposed to be, either. But she thinks she remembers Lucas. Lucas remembers Scarlett, too, except they’re entirely unable to recall where they’ve been or what happened to them. Neither of them remember the sixth victim, Max – the only one who hasn’t come back. Which leaves Max’s sister, Avery, wanting answers. She wants to find her brother – dead or alive – and isn’t buying this whole memory-loss story. But as details of the disappearance begin to unfold, no one is prepared for the truth.

The Possible
Bloomsbury (US: 6th June 2017)
Buy (US) Buy (UK) Buy (CA) Buy (Worldwide)

What if…no one knows the truth about you? It’s been thirteen years since Kaylee’s biological mother, Crystal, once infamous for her supposed telekinetic ability, got a life sentence for killing Kaylee’s little brother in a fit of telekinetic rage. Today, Kaylee’s living a normal life with her adoptive parents and almost never thinks of Crystal. Until a woman shows up on Kaylee’s doorstep, asking to interview her for a podcast about her mother. Was the whole telekinesis thing a hoax, or does Crystal have some kind of special powers? Is it possible that Kaylee has them, too? It would certainly explain some of the stranger things that have happened to her over the years. What if…she did the interview? Met her mother for the first time since the trial? Can her mother prove she can make things happen with her mind? Can Kaylee do the same? And what if she has been doing it, all along? As the podcast begins airing, everyone in Kaylee’s life – everyone in the country – is hearing this dark history and asking questions that even Kaylee has never dared ask herself.

Buy (US) Buy (UK) Buy (CA) Buy (Worldwide)

In a world where magic and science sit side by side, and powerful witches are considered necessary aides for all governments, Lizzie Grace is something of an outlier. Though born into one the most powerful blue blood witch families, she wants nothing to do with either her past or her magic. But when she and Belle, her human familiar and best friend, open a small cafe in the Faelan werewolf reservation, she quickly finds herself enmeshed in the hunt for a vampire intent on wreaking bloody havoc. It’s a hunt that soon becomes personal, and one that is going to take all her skills to survive – that’s if the werewolves, who hate all things witch, don’t get her first.

It seems too good to be true when Daniel Tate, missing since he was abducted from one of California’s most elite private enclaves at the age of ten, turns up on a snowy street in Vancouver six years later. At first too traumatized to speak, he is eventually able to tell the authorities who he is and is reunited with his overjoyed family. In time, they tell him, he’ll recover the memories he’s missing; all that matters is that they have him back. It’s perfect. A miracle. Except for one thing: That boy isn’t Daniel Tate. But he wants to be. A young con artist who’s been taking on false identities for years, this impostor has stumbled onto the scam of a lifetime. Daniel has everything he’s ever dreamed of – wealth, privilege, the chance to make a fresh start, and most importantly, a family that loves him. Now that he’s finally found a place to belong, he doesn’t question his luck. Until he realizes that maybe Daniel isn’t missing at all.
