Huh, I knew that Kady Cross was now writing as Kate McLaughlin, but I hadn’t realized that the prior books were so completely rebranded. Part of me likes the new covers, but part of me also liked the originals better. I can’t decide.
These are self-published (she got the rights back from Harlequin). I do prefer the original covers, but if was probably too expensive to buy the artwork rights.
Oh, that makes sense! I like the original covers a lot, but these have a different kind of appeal to them.
