Heather’s a single mum with a snippy new boss. Susan’s a widow trying to raise two sons who can’t stay away from trouble. Mindy’s been fat-shamed and cheated on by her husband, and it looks like he’s up to no good again.

Meanwhile, Chris has secrets that involve their sons…

I’ve spent the past month catching up on Lisa Scottoline’s standalones, and One Perfect Lie is my favourite thus far. A thriller with plenty of family drama and suspicious characters, it’s a fast read of which I read most of the second half in one sitting. It’s a cracker!

  1. This one sounds too thrilling for me, but I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😉
