Tez Says

Regarding Yesterday

July 17, 2008 · 4 Comments

Most page visits to my WordPress on Wednesday 16th July. The most visited page was the one regarding agent changes – 105 visits. Its closest rival was my review of Chris Howard’s Seaborn (35).

Disclaimer time: I don’t want to spread any rumours, and if you think I have, I certainly don’t mean to. For that I sincerely apologise. I don’t spy any conspiracy, only coincidences that may have nothing to do with each other.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that agent changes deserve press releases, so we all know what’s happened, and can be told that the reasons why are personal or amicable, and leave it at that. When I don’t get the full story, I’m rather confused, and then try to fill in the gaps myself, which I so shouldn’t do, and it wouldn’t even occur to me if I’d seen the whole picture.

Again, apologies to the people involved who may not have wanted to be mentioned. I’m rather sorry about that, and I do regret naming names. But I no means look on any of you in a derogatory fashion. You are all good, worthy, talented people deserving of your high value, and I look forward to following your careers.

It’s at times like these I’m grateful that WordPress shows stats of what links people clicked on to get to my site. Someone posted the blog link on AbsoluteWrite. Others got here via their email.

You know those personality tests that ask you if you feel people are talking about you to measure your level of paranoia? Does it count as paranoia if it’s true?

Never mind. You’re allowed to talk about me, and there’s nothing I can do to stop you, anyway. You’re welcome back here anytime, service with a smile :-)

Okay, not always smiling – let’s be honest ;-)

Wifey is an interesting item in this list. What a story!

Some Writers Deserve to Starve. Now that has piqued my curiosity. Happy reading!

I was BookMooching, and the seller encouraged me to mooch another title, so I chose Wifey.

I totally wasn’t expecting Some Writers Deserve to Starve!, but it came in a package with someone else. Naturally the title appealed to me (it’s a Writers Digest, by the way), so I’m looking forward to reading…though I probably deserve to starve ;-)

    Have a lovely day! :-)

I’ve reached the nasty point in my writing career that I’m not a bad writer. Can’t stand reading those who aren’t.
