At Vampire Wire, Marta Acosta blogs about the upcoming film adaption (English version – hopefully subtitled, not dubbed) of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Let the Right One In (published in the US as Let Me In). Which gives me the opportunity to repost this photo of me and Mr Lindqvist at the Melbourne Writers’ Festival 2007. He’s the first author I’ve met, and I met two others that day. So John Ajvide Lindqvist, Ewan Morrison and Karin Slaughter are the only authors I’ve met in facetime.
Devon Monk has just shared the cover art of her first novel, Magic to the Bone. Looks good
Insurrection – Patrice Michelle “The author has some interesting ideas, and a shift into urban fantasy would make a great career move.” My services are no longer required at Urban Fantasy Land, so from now on my news, opinions, reviews, interviews and extras will be elsewhere – namely my own blogs, and Flames Rising may also post my reviews. Thanks to all the wonderful people I’ve met via UFL – I’d love to keep in touch with you. You know where to find me.

Glad to know I can find you here
I’ll be sure to update my f-list.
The picture is great, by the way. If you are deranged, you do a damn good job of hiding it (which is cool and scary all at once, if you know what I mean).
Devon’s cover is definitely cool! I love seeing a badass chick wearing jeans instead of the standard-issue leather pants (although leather is pretty kick ass), and I totally dig her hair and tattoos! She looks pretty ferosh if you ask me

I actually look decent in that photo. As opposed to a photo I had taken later in the day, where I look really dopey/drugged. But I wasn’t, I swear!
Have a lovely day!
