Let Idlewild Sleep… in Melbourne

I rarely/never comment on musicians’ MySpace posts, but when Idlewild said that they might put “Let Me Sleep (Next to the Mirror)”, I had to cheer. I remember harmonising along to that song… Of course, I also wrote that I hope they come to Melbourne soon

Anyway, thanks for your comments on yesterday’s post. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I need to tone down my Aussieisms, but I know that I can only do that if Americans (or other nationalities) can point out what they don’t understand. So I’ve recognised the problem (well, the editor did that for me), and I’ve planned how to fix it (get people to tell me what they don’t understand. Is this what maturity is?
