Tez Says

Trashy Tez

I feel trashy: I thought about watching the Brownlow Red Carpet Arrivals. Thought. Though I did see the last five minutes. And I watched the whole count. And I don’t have a particular interest in football, but I was pleased with the winner – seems like such a good bloke on Before the Game. ‘Twas on last week’s episode. Quoth Dave Hughes: “I’m a heterosexual man, but you’re cute.” For reasons unknown, I found that heartwarming… aw ;-)

Okay, so recently Evil Editor offered to critique synopses: 400 words maximum. I checked my Shift synopsis: circa 1000. Eek. So I got it down, but at just under 500, it’s still too long for EE to critique. So if any of you feel like critiquing it, email me.

Be warned: I’ll probably ask for Bloodroot query and synopsis critiquing soon. But not yet.

Oh, and I sorted out my Blogspot layout; added lots of links. If your link is listed and you object, please contact me, and I’ll delete it.

The day’s pimping: This and this. Yes, I am desperate to win free things.

And for some trash to end the day’s post: I rather enjoy Calvin Harris’s “The Girls” and MIKA’s “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)”… and I’ve read that both are “novelty songs”. But that tag should only go to stuff like Crazy Frog – but these two aforementioned songs are fun! Trashy, but fun. Sometimes I go about my day, and in my head a lyric pops: Now a whole lotta woman needs a whole lot more! It’s just so jovial.
